WELCOME TO VILLAGE ANIMAL HOSPITAL

Local veterinary care that feels personal.

Village Animal Hospital is a privately owned, community-focused veterinary practice serving pets and their families in Dunwoody and surrounding North Atlanta communities. We believe great veterinary care is about more than medicine. It’s about knowing our patients, building relationships with their families, and creating a place where both pets and people feel genuinely cared for.

Led by Dr. Riva Wolkow, our team combines modern veterinary medicine with the warmth and personal attention of a neighborhood practice. From preventive care and dentistry to diagnostics, surgery, and unexpected illnesses, we treat every pet with the same patience, compassion, and attention we’d want for our own.

Being independently owned gives us the flexibility to put your pet’s health and well-being first, while continuing to be an active part of the community we serve.

Dr. Riva also owns our sister practice, Belle Isle Animal Hospital in Sandy Springs, extending that same commitment to personalized, community-focused veterinary care to even more local pets and their families.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I love this practice. We have been going for over three years. They are always able to squeeze Coco in when they need to. We had an emergency last month, they got us in within 15 minutes, and Dr Lucero recognized what was happening, called ahead to the emergency hospital, got Coco stabilized for the trip and sent us off urgently but without making me panic. We had an excellent outcome and we are extremely grateful that she could see us so quickly to get things started. Dr Roberts is equally wonderful. She called me after hours after we got home from the hospital just to talk and be there for me. She has seen us for well checks and all kinds of other things over the years. They're just a wonderful, wonderful caring practice.
